The Dead Waltz - A Eureka Adventure Module

A driver on state route 95 outside Mt. Gilead, Ohio reported seeing a ghost on the side of the road after midnight, nearly crashing his truck in shock. The day after, a local man found a bloody young girls’ dress washed up at the docks in the state park. A police investigation didn’t turn up any missing persons, or any possible victims, and the locals grew fearful. There were stories of lights in the woods, of strange noises, and things in the water.

To add to all this, a large manufacturing plant in town has been struggling to get back on its feet after being bought out by investors last year. Strange incidents have been affecting production, and there’s talk of layoffs or bankruptcy if sales don’t recover soon. The town will not recover if the factory goes out of business.

As more and more people begin to have dark dreams, and accidents begin to rack up around town, it’s up to a few curious or foolhardy investigators to track down the source and rid the town of the evil that’s befallen it before Mt. Gilead becomes a ghost town.
